Our first day in the big city was perfect. We walked down brick lane to a cute little cafe called Franze and Evans. There was a long stand of cakes and pastries positioned next to the counter and coffee machine that looked soooo good. You could tell they were all freshly made and I had to resist from buying a piece of red velvet cake. They even had Anzac biscuits that were huge and four pounds ! We all resisted temptation and ordered salads that were so tangy , fresh and full of flavour. After our first proper meal out in London we headed for the tube that took us to Madame Tusaudes. It was crazy how life like the wax figures looked! I got my photo taken with so many famous people like Russell brand, Jonny Depp, Leonardo Di Caprio, The Beatles of course, Jimi Hendrix, Einstein, Picasso, Nadal and I got one with Collin Firth just for you Mum. Molly and I also got a lot of selfies with random people we didn't know, like Bollywood stars and some politicians , it was pretty funny. We also got taken to a 4d dome cinema that played a superhero movie. It was so cool because when the hulk threw a car into a water fountain, water actually sprayed out of your chair onto you! Air also came out of the chairs and the chairs got pushed when wolverine used his claws. After Madame Tusaudes we hit the shops in Oxford street but really just to browse. I think I lost some weight because we walked so much all day haha! Before heading back to our apartment we stopped into Tescos supermarket. We went al cheapo and purchased discount salad ingredients for dinner. I'm sitting on my bed next to Molly and Bek who are dead to the world and catching up in their zzz.
