Sweaty, sticky and hot. That is how we all woke up on Sunday morning being smothered by our thick dooners. We had slept past breakfast so decided to eat out. After our big night out we thought it would be smart to eat a greasy brekky. We sat outside on wooden tables and chairs shaded by leafy green trees at vibe bar cafe. I got 3 poached eggs with bacon for 7 pounds it was soooo good and we snuck in freshly squeezed juices we bought from the market right outside. Nothing had been planed for the day except recovering, so we walked down the little cobble stone alleys through
the bustling brick lane sunday market. We caught the bus to Oxford street again to buy some cheap nail polish and have one last look around. Little did we know that our Jack the Ripper tour was actually that night. Once again we didn't leave ourselves enough time to get back home and to the tour so we had to rush straight there. Conveniently the only two train lines going to aldgate east station were closed , it was a disaster! We caught about 3 trains and then realised the meeting point station was under construction. After finding the group and then realising it was the wrong one, we then were finally pointed in the right direction to our group. The tour was really interesting, and the tour guide had heaps of pictures that were pretty gruesome of all jacks victims. We walked to all the hidden and mysterious alleys he struck in. Us gals however were so exhausted from walking all day it was hard to keep up. Once the tour was over we headed straight for home, and gladly went to the bar next door for some lemon lime bitters. Te bar tenders had never made them before and found the order really unusual. We had to teach them how to make the drinks and they tasted one and loved it! We had scoffed our pre made dinners on the train so we made it to our dorm room and crashed. xoxo Alice. ps Molly got her nosed pierced and I got my forward helix done, only because bek is getting a tattoo soon and we wanted to join in on the pain haha!
