09/12 - 11.30pm. Arrived in India almost an hour later than expected to eventually meet Ange waving at me from outside of baggage claim.

10/12 - 12.30am. Jump into a taxi expecting to arrive at our hotel around 30 mins later. Fall victim, despite our best efforts, to one of India's many scans.

10/12 - 4.30 am. Time for bed in our very over priced hotel thanks to the scam, could have been a lot worse.

10/12 - 9.45am. A relatively early rise for me in order to deliver breakfast in bed to Ange. Then I head out to attempt to correct the previous nights mistakes.

10/12 - 2pm. Check in to the hostel that we actually had booked for the previous night, things starting to look up.

11/12 - 11pm. I'm sitting in the hostel common area with Ange reading next to me. We spent the last 24+ hours research and speaking to travel agents to plan out next step in India. We decided to book a car, driver and the next 2 weeks of accommodation. We leave tomorrow, let the Indian adventure begin!
