We are shortly about to leave Agra and head back to Delhi to board on first train to Varanassi, were we will be for new year.

We got up very early this morning (6 am) to go to the Taj Mahal for sunrise but unfortunately very thick fog ment it was impossibly to really see anything even when stood 10 metres away it only just possible to make it out. We were completely unable to see the top!
Very disappointed especially as it cost us 750 rupees each!

However, thankfully when we arrived in Agra yesterday even we headed for the Taj but rather than going in we walked down to the river that runs along the back of the Taj and hired a boat to take us out into the river 200 rupees between us. The view was amazing and we were the only ones there, we got some great photos (see above) and it saved our Taj Mahal experience.
