It has been another busy week. I needed a vacation to recover from my vacation!

But aside from college and work I have a new flat mate called Erika who is an undergraduate computer science student at DePaul who has decided to move out of home and into halls. She seems quite nice so hopefully it will all be ok.

I have also had a number of job interviews, including one for a group working to prevent evictions in San Francisco so I have fingers and toes crossed that this job will come through.

On Friday night the church started a really cool new bible study on Philippians. There is a large group bible study session led by the pastor and then we split up into small groups for discussion. My small group are a really nice group of 7 young woman in their 20's and 30's. It was a really fin night followed by a pizza party. It is going to last for another 8 weeks and Im excited to see where it goes.

On Saturday night we had the barristers ball at DePaul. It was held at the Chicago Bears football field. It was really cool. It had a black and white theme and I had found a dress for 10 dollars that I got taken in which was a steal. I went with Clodagh and Kate and we had a really fun night. The music was pretty rubbish but everyone looked so good and was just enjoying spending time together. We were also able to go outside and walk down to the front row of seats and actually see the field.

This week Im heading to Phoenix, Arizona next weekend and then it is time to settle down and get the head into the books to sit my exams.
