It might not look like it but spring has arrived in Chicago, at least for the next 24 hours. It was about 10 degrees celcius today which meant I was able to take a little walk around some of the Chicago sights that I photographed in the summer and see how different (or similar!) they look in the melting snow. It was nice to be able to take the time in the warmer weather to stand around and take pictures where it has been too cold to do so for the last few weeks
Aside from that this week has been very busy. I have 3 projects due in this week so I am worked off my feet, and I have been down with a virus that has been going round college so I have not been too pleased. Thankfully I am over that now and getting ready for the week ahead. I have also been sending out hundreds of job application forms for the summer so I have fingers toes and everything else crossed that something will work out.
Also this week Muireann had some friends visiting from Ireland and I made it to one of the nights out at the cheesecake factory followed by drinks at the hancock - a favourite night out with visitors.
This week I have a presentation in adoption law on international adoptions from India on monday, a draft of my Lindy Chamberlain paper due in on Wednesday and a Mediation on Wednesday night, never mind the regular classes I have as well. Then I have a death penalty seminar on Friday, followed by the Public Interest Law Association auction on friday night which I am helping with. I am also hoping to get back out skiing in Chicago before all the snow is gone!
I hope all is well at home.
