I can't quite believe it has been 2 weeks since I wrote on this blog! The last 2 weeks have passed so quickly I just dont know where they have gone. I

I have had assignmnets due in nearly every day of classes and so I have been working incredibly hard. Thankfully they are all done now and I have a week to relax.

I was also helping with the Public Interest law auction which was a really fun night. There were loads of people there and loads of prizes. I bid on and won cubs tickets and theatre tickets. Both of which I will definitely enjoy! I went out afterwards for drinks and dessert with a group of 1st year law students, all of whom were really lovely.

Work has also been exciting as I appeared before a judge yesterday! I was so scared all I could do was say good morning. I must have looked terrified because he just smiled at me and signed my forms. However when I got back to the office they told me I was supposed to have told him I was only a law clerk as he would have assumed that I was a qualified attorney! Ooops!!

As well as all that I was at the homeless shelter working at the legal clinic last night which was as challenging as always. Except last night we had over 40 clients wanting to see us, we were very very very busy.

Chicago has gone insane for St Patricks day. They have been celebrating already for 2 weeks and all the fountains are green! I am missing the big St patricks day parade but I did go to the Irish tent for my lunch yesterday and had some "irish" fish and chips! Not quite like it is at home but it was better than most American alternatives. I will just be glad when it is over and we go back to normality!

I have never been more glad for a weeks break! I am writing this from Colorado airport where I have just arrived and I am waiting for the shuttle to take me to Breckenridge. I will keep you all updated with how I am getting on and put up a few pics of the amazing mountains that are around here!
