0230 start and then 11 hours on a plane to Dubai. I would have said the plane was only half full as we had a whole row of 4 seats to ourselves. The bad news was this had to be the most bumpiest ride I have ever had in a plane and it would have been like that for round 8 of the 11 hours. Got into Dubai and although we had around an hour to wait it seemed to only last half that time by the time we walked through the terminal. Now it was onto an A380, seats were only 3 rows from the front. If it had been a normal flight we would have been in first class!! Anyhow the the plane ride is great, quiet and smooth given the previous flight. It was also a little disappointing as you don't get the usual feeling of power when they take off. Finally got to bed after about 26 odd hours without sleep.
