Pemberton was only a short drive away, but on the way we saw many kangaroo's, escaped cattle and other wildlife. When we got to the caravan park it was getting late so I enlightened German Rebecca with Wallace and Gromit for the first time and also watched Lethal Weapon 1.

The next morning after waking up to around 30-40 insect bites we headed to the Bicentennial Tree which you could climb, first to a 30m platform half-way, then to a 68m platform at the top. I made roughly 3m. That's not a typo either, yeah just a mere 3m. But let me explain. The ladder going up the tree was merely metal poles sticking out spiralling around, with just a wire mesh around the side. Also there was treacherous rain conditions and my fear of heights, so decided 3m was enough. Rebecca made it slightly further but then like me opted to go any further around the 5-6m mark. So we just decided to make our way to our next destination - Augusta.
