Day 4: Saturday 29th Dec
Last morning in Paris :( first day of sun too!
Started out by going to 'le pont des arts'. It's a bridge that goes over the River Seine to the Louvre, but the sides are covered with locks! It's so beautiful. Couples from all over the world go there and right their names on a lock, lock it to the bridge, to show their love for each other. Was soooo cool! Uploaded heaps of pics of it. Read one that had 'marry me?' on it, hope she said yes ha!
Then went through to the Louvre so I could take some more photos. Was such a glorious day, the sun was amazing, so how could I not take pics! We then walked to an area full of the most expensive jewelry shops! I'm talking 34 thousand euros for a ring!!!
BUT THEN we turned the corner and I saw Tiffany & Co! Was dying to go inside, and am now the very proud owner of a 'Return to Tiffany & Co' bracelet! I'm so cool now hahah
Headed back to the car, drove past the Moulin Rouge so I could get another pic and then headed for Vannes.
Had an amazing time in Paris. I definitely understand why it's called the city of love! It's just beautiful and every corner you turn there is something there to take your breath away! I recommend you all go some time haha :)
Big cousin sleep over tonight.. fingers crossed I can stay awake for a bit of it, absolutely knackered!!
