The last couple days...
Thursday- woke up to -1 degrees but what are coats for! Then just the average day at school:)
Friday- finished school at 3.30, yay! Then stayed at my friend Anna's house (the Aussie in my class)! She lives in a place called Elven, a tiny little old town, with a couple in I think their fifties:) We made Anzac biscuits that night... trying to show off the famous biscuits of our country... and forgot the sugar! OOPS they tasted so bad, but her host parents loved them so all good ;) then watched a movie, Facebook stalked a cute french boy from school that we've never said a word too, then went to sleep! Went for a run with Anna this morning, her track was just like mine, beautiful and picturesque, but hers had livestock in the paddocks! Uploaded a picture with this blog :) ran and took pics for about an hour and then went back and had the famous French 'Raclette' for lunch. Raclette is a type of cheese, but you put it on this thing that you put under a machine that melts the cheese and then you eat it with potato's and ham and tomato, was very yummy!
Back to the Simon household! Watched Maiwenn's basketball team win their match, then came home and opened our advent calendars! Mum sent one over that had fredo frogs in it and Maiwenn had never seen a fredo frog before.. What is wrong with France?!?!
Had delicious crepes for dinner and then watched Twilight at the cinema, IN FRENCH! Was soooo good and I actually understood most of it!
