Quick update of today, Sunday 2nd:)
Scallops for lunch time! First time I'd tried them and was pleasantly surprised.. I actually liked them:)
Well as the christmas season has arrived it would be rude not to decorate with all things jolly! Went to this huuuuuge Christmas shop, that had every kind of tinsel and tree ornament imaginable and much much more. Maryse and Hervé purchased some more tinsel and three pretty balls for the tree plus some window stickers:) felt like I was in a movie when I was in the store! (not sure why, just did haha)
Came home, Maiwenn and I made Anzac biscuits. Remembered the sugar this time THANK GOD so they actually tasted how they should, and everyone loved them:) must be my awesome cooking skills I inherited...
Assembled and decorated the 'arbre de Noël' (Christmas tree) and it looks smashing :) have attached a collage of pics where you can see it :)
In France they don't put presents under the tree until Christmas Eve, because apparently Santa doesn't finish his chrissy shopping until then! Dammit, no guessing what everyone's getting this year... Not sure if they do Santa stockings here either.
Munched on an Anzac biscuit after the decorating and then heading to Maryse's parents house for the usual Sunday night drink :) they all talked about who's bringing what food on Christmas day, because of course, life revolves around food :D
Bed time for me now!

Jillian Steer Love it. Jenny and I want to know how I do your photos like that?? Very clever with the biscuits. Christmas shop sounds lovely. Keep having fun xx
Kate So happy you remembered the sugar! I love Christmas shops-it helps give you Christmas spirit. Are you beginning to understand more of what everyone is saying? You'll be happy to know that all the other year 11's are doing exams at the moment while you are having fun in France. Xxx
Megan What a great day u had. I would love to go to a Christmas shop like that, it sounds beautiful. Our real tree is up and decorated. The Griswald Christmas has arrived and Kevin has been busily decorating the front of the house. Posting ur present today Ab.xx
Floss Sounds like you're really getting into the Christmas spirit, soak it up. What's your next Aussie cooking lesson? Pav? Have fun.
