Well it's finally Christmas Eve! Once again, the year has flown by!
Recap of the last few days as I am aware I have been a bit slack with my blogging... haha
Thursday- big day at school! Had a huuuge Christmas lunch, was delish! Little keishes (unaware of spelling) for entrée, chicken and chips for main, cheese afterwards of course, followed by delish piece of cake for dessert! They also gave us a can of fanta-type stuff and also a little box of celebrations, loved every minute of that lunch haha!
The school then put on a Christmas concert for us.. wasn't really Christmassy at all.. but was still very enjoyable! Students from the school sang on their own and they were all wry good! Most sung in English which was great. four students 'tried' to sing Call Me Maybe at the end... was an absolute disaster! Sounded so terrible I wanted to rip my ears of, a mix of a bad singing voice and a french accent... but good on them for trying ha!!! Just please not again...
Friday- was supposed to have double french, class had a test, so Anna and I asked if we could go to the library, in other words... can we just leave for two hours haha. So we went for a stroll, got something yummy to eat and wandered back slowly in time for an early lunch :) Finished school at 4.35, and then Hervé took me to finalize and pay for my flights to Italy:) YAY ALL BOOKED, 25 SLEEPS TO GO! Had galette for dinner which was yummy of course, and then watched movies all night with Maïwenn and ate lollies:) we were waiting up for her parents to return with her two twin brothers, Damien and Florent :) try arrived home a bit before 1 I think, both very nice and friendly and eager to try their English out on me :)
Saturday- had a nice sleep in, and then played NBA basketball on the playstation against both bro's, lost both games... playstation isn't something I excel at haha
Spag Bol for lunch and then went into Vannes with Damien and Maïwenn as they needed to find a Christmas present for Florent, so that was nice :)
Returned home and watched more movies with Maïwenn and painted our nails red to get into the Christmas spirit!
After dinner, played phase 10 with everyone but it got too late to finish the game, but I was winning when we stopped so all good ;)
Sunday- another good sleep in! Breakfast and then soon after went to Hervé's parents for a lovely, BIG, Christmas lunch :) came home at about 6ish, feeling sick as a dog, and then proceeded to throw up my whole lunch (thought you all needed to know that!) Knowing me, I probably just ate too much ha! Slept it off for the rest of the night and feel fine now :)
Which brings me to Christmas Eve! Yay one more sleep, hope you are all asleep by now or Santa will be a no show!
Skyped the whole fam this morning which was sooooo so good! :D
Lunch soon I think, and then going to Maryse's sisters house to do some cooking for tomorrow's big Christmas lunch at their parents house :)
Home made apple crumble for dessert tonight, definitely looking forward to that :D
I think we will be putting all the presents under the tree tonight also so that'll be nice :)
Excited to see how the french do Christmas!
