The bus to Agadir took longer than expected but the sun was shining a good sign as we had headed south for some sun before home. Spent what was left of the afternoon relaxing on the terrace. We got a bottle of wine and went to a resturant were ushered into a corner and had two empty coke bottles placed on the table so no one knew we were evil drinkers of alcohol.

Next morning yes it was raining went for a walk along the beach in the gloom it did stop raining. It was not until two three in the afternoon that the sun came back out. Agadir has an advertised 360 days of sunshine I do not know if they counted this as one of the sunny days but I know Keeley did not. We did spend sometime in a nice park and tried to go to a musuem (closed). Not a lot to Agadir apart from beach so a bit of a let down. Keeley not happt about her tan.

The drive up the atlantic coast to Essaouira was a beautiful one lots of rugged coast and picture perfect beaches. We also saw goats in trees no kidding (pun intended) in some trees up to half a dozen strange sight. Essaouira has a very nice medina right on the alantic coast. First day went along the ramparts and wandered the medina. That night we visited the Essaouria Earth Cafe very good food again the spring rolls were the best I have ever eaten.

Next morning sun was shining so went to Skala du Port for the must have picture of Essaouira it was a very nice picture sun, seagulls, sea and the city. The sun soon disapeared but went for a walk along the beach anyway. A nice walk if a little windy. Wandered the medina again lots of kid setting fires and then running around with burning cardboard. They were at it yesterday not sure why but no one seems worried about these child pyromanics. We had another nice dinner before retiring.

So this morning really raining I know snow at home but this rain was not to be sniffed at. Made it not too drenched to the bus and back to Marrekesh. Running low on dirhams so a few necassary purchases and a takeway thus ends our last night in Africa, pizza and wine a true african experiance.
