Off exploring
1st November, we spent travelling up from Nata to Kasane.
Today, we cross the Chobe river into Zambia. This crossing marks the point where 4 countries meet: Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Also, where two rivers meet: the Chobe flows into the Zambezi.
It's another early crossing today for two reasons.
1) to be at the border when it opens to ensure we're at the front of the queue.
2) to rush to Livingstone to be able to spend the morning rafter down the Zambezi. Thankfully, we made it, and I force Jacklyn to endure 10 rapids from cat 3 to cat 5! Thankfully, we all manage to stay in the boat, thanks in part to our Swedish Guide, Sven, from Rippon?!
