Last day in Zambia today, so Jacklyn and I decide to fling ourselves into the Zambezi river gorge.
Flipping awesome.
You free fall about 50m, mostly upside down, before the pendulum action catches you, and you swing out into the gorge. You then swing backwards and forwards for a few minutes before being lowered to the ground, around 110m below.
Turns out, that by going tandem, we not only saved money, but fall faster and swing harder. Awesome.
I did manage to hit my legs on a tree on the way down...don't know how that happened!
After a 30min climb back up the gorge, we had a quick run into town, where we were being picked up to commence our tour.
We were going to be on a new bus, with around 18other people. Some of whom were on their way down to Cape Town from Nairobi, others who were just starting out. Oh they joys that were to follow...
A quick river crossing back over the Chobe, and back to the Chobe River Cruise Campsite for two nights
