Today, we returned from the delta, and took to the air in an optional activity. $45 for a 45min flight over the Okavango Delta. It's awesome. You see so much. The Delta is enormous, and full of animals. I spent so long staring down my camera lens, I nearly made myself airsick, I had to stop and look and the big picture. Yesterday, was a non event. We spent all day on the road, (more or less) driving from Kasane to Maun. Today however, we are heading into the Okavango Delta. (aka Swamp!) We start the morning by boarding our Makoros, which are a type of dugout canoe. We have pollers, that 'punt' was through the reeds to our camp site for the night. I use the term campsite loosely.
