So, after getting back to Joburg for a quiet couple of day, Jacklyn and I headed off to meet my Dad in the Blyde River canyon, the largest 'green canyon' in the world. The weather was not on our side, and we only managed some decent photos the first day we were there. The next couple of days, the weather rolled in, and it rained most of the time. We did get to see lots of monkeys though!

Heading back to Cape Town today, so we made a little side trip to Boulders to see the penguins. Aaah - cute aren't they. We then followed the coast road down and around the cape peninsula, which bought with it some excellent vistas. Today - we went Shark Diving. Simple really - put on a wet suit, and climb into a cage that's floating just below the surface of the water. Sharks come and it's fun and scary. We saw something like 4 or 5 sharks, all great whites, and all more than 3m long. Oh - and I was nearly sea sick while in the cage. Good times!

Today, we continued back towards Cape Town, and stopped by at Cape Agulhas, the southern most tip of Africa. We took the opportunity to swim (by which I mean paddle) in the Indian and Atlantic Oceans in the same day.

The last couple of nights, Jacklyn and I have stayed with my aunt, who lives between Mossel Bay and George. Yesterday was a civilised affair. We sat in a restaurant on the edge of the sea, drinking and eating sea food. I ordered some oysters, which were particularly fresh. They pull a basket of shellfish that's attached to the end of a rope, dangling into the sea. Amazing food, and so reasonably priced. Today however, we drove to the Bloukrans Bridge. Supp...
