It is pouring rain in Barcelona right now. I watched it on the television during the futbol game(soccor for all you Yankees) and now I am watching it outside my window. Lightening is iluminating the cloud filled sky and thunder is shaking the building under my feet. I went outside and just watched it and felt it. It is so powerful and amazing - it reminds my heart of God. I actually can see the lightening forks come through the clouds. It is an awesome sight. For all of you who are so critical of myspace, now hear this - I reconnected with an old friend on there today. We chated on instant messanger for almost an hour. I met him when I went on a ski trip with a church I didn't go to. He isn't going to church right now and I don't know where he is with God, but I feel that this wasn't an accident. I've already had a few opportunities to share with him and I feel certain there will be more. Pray for him and for me that God would continue to bless this effort. I spent the whole half hour journey back from school today praying. I sat on the bus and just prayed for anything and everything. Family and friends, know you have been prayed for today! I lifted up to God all those whom I love and I praised him for their pressence in my life. I just realized all over again what is happening right now - I am living my dream! I dreamed and planned this trip for more than two years and now here I am thanks to God and my parents! I miss everyone from back home, but the distance has just taught me to value them more. God has given me people worth missing and I am so grateful! The thunder is getting closer and I need to say goodnight for now and try to get some sleep - I have school tomorrow.
