Melbourne - November - ish Friday 1st November - Monday 10th November
A very busy weekend indeed was the first one of November! Saturday started with breakfast at the pancake parlor before Corinne and Sian went to watch the Bjorn Again at the crown casino which they loved and danced with all the old ladies. We met up in the afternoon and walked along the south bank before heading back for a bite to eat and to get our costumes ready for the Halloween party that night. Wolfie went as a killer Dr. and Corinne and Sian as pumpkin type thingies.
Sunday 2nd November started with a big walk around the botanical gardens was a gorgeous day very warm and hot and sunny. There were a couple of weddings which meant Corinne and Sian got to b**** about the dresses and what not. We had a snack in the café and took some more of the gardens in. In the evening it was time for the rugby league world cup game between the Aussies and the English we got dressed up, painted our faces and donned the scarfs. The atmosphere was great but we got thrashed 52-4 terrible battered!!!! English teams at world events!!!! Apart from the Olympics were they done us proud!!!!
Week off some small events with Richard our flat mate leaving for his job in Brisbane, on the Wednesday 5th (Bonfire night no one celebrates that here) we went to St Kilda to see the penguins little fairy ones was wicked and they make an awesome noise when they bed down for the night. Wednesday was also they day that America elected its first African American President in Barack Obama like them more already and renecks all over the states were crying out in disbelief hahahahahahahahahahaha
Friday was time to say bye to Sian as she was to leave for other lands and we took advantage of the Nando's across from the flat. We had a few drinks with Emma and Lauren some of Wolfie's friends from work.
The final weekend and few days were spent getting ready for our adventure up the EAST COAST of AUSTRALIA.
