Hi Everyone,

Still on slow down and family time, the colds for both of us are still taking their course, hopefully will be better by the time we fly to Paris in two days time!

Friday we had a lazy morning, then went to see Pam again, my childhood friend, good to see her again and chat. After saying our farewells to Pam we drove around the corner to see my cousin Peter, he hasn't changed since our last visit.

In the evening we are meeting family and friends for a farewell dinner at the Toby Carvery in Quinton. What a lovely evening it turned out to be, five people couldn't make it in the end but there was still 20 of us to chat and laugh away the night. Sad and happy at the same time saying our farewells to everyone but hopefully we can all catch up again before too long.

Saturday morming we were up early to return the hire car by 9.00am, it has worked out very well, been an excellent car and Enterprise Car Hire a good company to deal with. Sally the sat nav will just have to find a new home with the next lot of drivers!!

Scott and Julie came over to Maris' for lunch, as they couldn't make the previous night's dinner. We sat at the table long after lunch all chatting and the afternoon soon slipped away.

In the evening Bill met his brother Colin for a dink at The Prince of Wales Pub, which is Colin's local, for a little one to one Bro time. I had a relaxing evening with Maris and John, need the rest at present to prepare for the next phase of touring, namely Paris and then the Rhine Cruise.
