Hi Everyone,

Yesterday (Friday 28th) was a day for catching up with good friends. In the morning we met up with Maris and John and with Sheila we all went to visit Bill's parents grave. The family had put a head stone on the grave since the last time we were here, and very smart it looks.

After lunch with Maris and John we went to see Val and George Rose, Val I have known each other since my early school days and re-met her in 2003 and have kept in touch since. Lovely to catch up with them again and the time passed too quickly.

We next went to see my dear friend Pam (Paul who lives in York sister) Pam and Paul lived oposite me during my childhood and the 3 of us were great friends. Good to see her again and we were soon chatting like we always did.

Back to Sheila and Dave's for tea and more chatting.

Saturday we woke to a lovely sunny warm morning, we had arranged to meet up with Yvonne, Catherine, Michael and Martin for brunch. (Sheila's daughter in-law and grandchildren) They have all grown up now, Catherine completing her Uni media degree in London last year, Michael is an apprentice electrician, Martin in his last year at school, Daniel couldn't come as he is away at Uni.

Good to see them again and how nicely they have grown up.

Tonight we are out with Sheila, Dave and Sharon for dinner to The Lakeside Hotel in Oldbury not far from where Sharon lives.
