Hi Everyone,

Monday was a family and friends day, we drove over to Maris and John's house for a most enjoyable lunch taking Shiela (Bill's other sister) with us.

We met up up with Jack and Bonnie again, Maris and John' very friendly dogs. They are a little exciteable when we arrive but soon settle and show us how well behaved they be can be. After chatting away the afternoon, we return to Sheila's house to get ready for our evening with Phil, Pat, Marion and Alan.

Phil had booked a table at "The Fountain at Clent", it's situated in the Clent hills and only about 8 miles from Sheila's. We set off in good time and had put the address into the sat nav, all was going well until we came to a traffic island, we followed the instructions to take the 3rd exit only to be told to do a U turn, after about 3 circuits around the traffic island we took the 2nd exit and the sat nav was happy - so were we!! We eventually found the restaurant only being 20 minutes late!! It was great to see Phil, Pat, Marion and meet Alan, the food was lovely and the restaurant is small, intimate and beautifully decorated. The evening went all to quickly as we chatted and laughed away the night.

Today we have relaxed while catching up on the washing in readiness for our trip to Scotland tomorrow.
