We awoke that morning to disembark our train at 10am & enjoy our day in Hoi An, only to find that the train was no longer moving. Great! A Delay! The only problem with the trains in Vietnam is that they only have one track going to each destination, so if a previous train is delayed, your one is going to be screwed too! After many stop starts & enough card games to rival a casino, we arrived in Hoi An at 2pm & slightly pissed off. This left us with little time to do much that day, so we had lunch, walked around the clothes shops a bit, had dinner about 2 hours after lunch & then de-stress with some beers at Before & Now bar, whilst ranting about the state of the trains.
