Our final tour day saw us end up where it had all begun around a month ago. We headed to the Grand Palace to have a look around. However, because it was a Friday, it was closed most of the day as the Royal Family were in attendance for prayers. It was far too hot to hang around & wait for the Royals to stop being selfish (did they not know we were waiting?), so we went to look at a few surrounding temples. Feeling fairly Buddah'd out, myself & Joel left the rest of the group & headed back to the hotel to cool off poolside! That evening we headed to Koh San street (also known as Backpacker's Street) for dinner & goodbye drinks. Using our outstanding alcohol senses, we tracked down a pub that had a BOGOF offer on buckets. Sure to say we made use of that offer & had a cracking night. Trying to get Joel home was quite an effort however, as he was determined to see a 'Ping Pong' show before he left. We eventually got him home, minus a souvenir table tennis ball!
