Lihue!!!!!!!!!!! We were so excited to get to Kauai, but I am definitely glad we stopped in Oahu for a short time. I wish we would have had more time, especially to hook up with my cousin Nate that lives in the Honolulu area. I didn't want to inconvenience them, and now I wish that I would have!! We made it! Diamond Head is a pretty easy hike, less than a mile but straight up at the very end over 100 stairs. What an amazing view of Waikiki and the coastline. It was well worth the quick hike. It still takes about 30 minutes each way and is a popular hike with tourists and locals. Hilarious moment of the hike - opening my Map this Run app and apparently I hadn't shut it down from my last run, so it showed 3,712 miles for my run. Man I'm tired! Scary m...
