So before we headed out of town, we had the opportunity to see the new Corporate Headquarters of Fender guitars. Our super talented brother in law, Scott, is a graphic designer at Fender. He worked with us for a year or so when he first got out of school, and we have trying to get him to come back ever since, but he is pretty happy at Fender, and creating amazing work. Oatman, Arizona is an old gold-mining town up in the mountains. We took a long, windy, drive up there. The streets have wild donkeys that were left behind many years ago, and we got bags of food to feed them. They ate right out of our hands. At high noon, there was a gun-fight in the middle of town square. It is right on Old Highway 66. We got to walk through part of the mine. I can not imagine working in a mine with limited air and lots of dust and dirt...

Our cousins, Nick and Narci Martinez have an awesome little hideout just off the Colorado river. The kids had a blast hanging with their cousins and riding dirt bikes and ATV's. Hollie kept us well fed with her awesome cooking, and yummy s'mores in the fire pit.
