Waking up in Hawaii is an amazing feeling! Everyone is in love with Hawaii. The kids are already talking about their college options here. Plan for today, beach and hiking Diamond Head before we head out to Kauai. I forgot my tennis shoes!! Let's hope I make it up and down Diamond Head in one piece. It cautions no sandals or flip flops. I'll have to buy some cheapie shoes for hiking in Kauai. I was going on three days of limited sleep when we packed for our trip. For all the small things I forgot and not being my usually insanely prepared self - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
