We are off to the sunshine and beaches in Hawaii!!!! .....but first snow in balmy Minneapolis. We booked these insanely cheap flights to Hawaii, and it only said one stop on the way, one on the way back, no problem! Well, somehow there are two stops on the way there. Texas to Minnesota to Los Angeles, and finally on to Hawaii. It's worth it for the deal we got!

Getting a week off was a lot of work as usual. Jeff had a big project working on building a cart for the Selena Gomez tour. It wasn't really that big of a project, it just was a tight timeline. Super grateful for great friends that can help! Our friend Tom was able to help Jeff work all night and ship to where it needed to be, so we could barely scrape out the door at 5 this morning to catch our 6 am flight.

I'm lucky, advertising can be done on the plane, on my phone, and on the fly! (Well, with a team back in the office backing me up!) I'm sure the kids will have fun getting lots of photos of me on my phone as they do with all of our vacations. It's fine to tease mom, really it is.

I'm sitting at the airport watching the bags while the kids are outside with Jeff trying to play in the snow. Kylie is determined to make a snowman during our layover. Of course none of us are dressed warm in the slightest, well, other than sweatshirts! It is so dang cold here, I can't imagine living here! Even the air in the toilet is cold from the cold water. Now what is cold! I was glad I brought a scarf! The temperature was 27 when we landed and I felt it in my bones the second we stepped off the plan. Man I'm getting old!
