We finally made it!!! Super long flight on the oldest planes possible, but we made it all in one piece! Seriously though, Delta, any journey over 6 hours should require a TV system that works!!!!! Brutal!!!
Hawaii is always beautiful and even though it was raining, it was a warm gorgeous night. We flew in just as the sun was setting, and were all excited about the beach. We hopped on over to our car rental company, got our car and hit up L&L for dinner. Holy cow, we forgot how much food they gave you and only ordered 4 meals and took back 2 to our hotel room fridge. The mac salad was amazing as always!
Everyone was so tired, we all went immediately to sleep when we got to our room. The kids were delirious and had to be led to our room after we took in the bags. Our room is awesome and we got a free upgrade with a view. The view is hilarious because we are only on the third floor, you can barely see water if you stand on your tip toes. It has a balcony though, which is fantastic.
