After a delish breakfast with Tal and his mum we hit the road heading to Ohio. The weather was very ordinary and there were road works so it took a bit longer than we had hoped it would.
We got to Aaron and Angela's after 5pm so they were both home. It was good to see them so much happier now they'd are in the same country at last.
We went out to wild wings for dinner then to Jungle Jims which is a grocery store on steroids. They have international aisles with weird and wonderful stuff like ant candy lol In the Thai aisle I managed to get some curry paste and dry coconut cream which is so much easier to carry when travelling than the cans. Hopefully now we are all set to cook some good chicken curries. Everything there is not what you expect of a grocery store, even the loos are different. They appear to be porta loos but when you go through those doors you come to a stylish powder room and then on to nice clean rest rooms. Someone with a sense of humour is in charge there!
From there to a Cincinnati institution, Greaters ice cream. It's been around for about 150 years. They all had shakes, I had a small ice cream, all were good.
We got back to the apartment to find Scott Rich who used to live here had told us we had to go to Jungle Jims and Greaters ice cream so A & A hit the right spots lol
Back to the apartment and we chatted for a couple of hours before Angela had to get to bed so she'd make work tomorrow and we were tired too after the drive so we did the same, watched a couple of shows and crashed.
