Back again, Shanghai again: new adventure. Stepping of the speed train we took the metro, scratch that: the cattle herd/ metro. After a jam packed metro ride we arrived to the big city but a way different feel. More like a NYC feel, the building are glowing with colour: neon lights guide our way through the streets. We find a coffee shop and we could swear we were back home, white people, English speaking-Starbucks feel. After a frustration packed hour trying to find a place to stay we found our hostel along the river. Signed in, large room for price, went to the grocery story; bought six one little beers, 4 bottles of powerade, 3 large bottles of water, bag of chips, two packs of gum, skittles and a pack of soup for around $ 10 Canadian ( not bad EH!)
Heading to bed! Long adventitious day ahead, have wifi in our room, will try to catch up emails and what not.
Trying to master squatting is hard for Tyler! Will appreciate toilets in a whole new way!
