Woke up nice and early and caught our tour bus to the great wall and ming tombs and not to mention its COLD! The good part is that the pollution fog has lifted and now clear blue skies! Seen our first gas station: gas is around $1.50 a litre. We arrived at the Ming tombs to a cold welcoming. Some very nice views and we visited the last emperors tomb: he was a bad emperor so the government chose to use his tomb as a viewing tomb. The drive through the country side shows a different way of life: two different worlds city compared to country. We have climbed the great wall. What a feeling we both have right now, sitting on top of the world, looking at an endless sea of mountains and the long path the great wall has taken. The sun is shinning, our hearts are racing; at both the view and long climb it took to see it. We are descending down soon and taking every last sight not for granted. Back at our hotel, planning our trip to Shanghai for the high speed train and trying to book a hostel. Might go to the night market; the one with all the bugs!
