A late night arrival brought us to Chiang Mai around 2130. An instant feel of the slow paced, mild air and more sleep city was a good change from Bangkok. Our bus ride from Siem reap to Bangkok ended up not being too bad. Although just like we figured we ended up in a van rather than coach bus after the border. The van was pretty squishy and hot but at least it had AC and no locals this time haha. As we drive into the city it is very modern almost with a New York kind of feel.
