Small update this time, still exhausted from writing the last blog entry. Working our way up through central Brazil, and next stop was Goiás Velho. The busdrive from Campo Grande to Goiania took us 15 hours. There we had to change buses before 3 more hours until we reached the destination we desired. This small town is truly a hidden gem. It actually became a UNESCO heritage site in 2002, but can´t imagine that it gets a lot of tourists except brazilians. It´s the most picturesque town you can imagine and you feel like you´re in medieval Portugal. Cobbled streets, small houses, nice bars, lovely pousadas and great restaurants. It´s located on a hillside and surrounded by jungle. The city actually goes under different names. Only Goiás is most commonly used. We are spending one more day here before we head towards Brasilia which is only 6 hours away. From Brasilia we are flying north to Macapa. Got help from one of our amazing colleagues back home at KILROY to arrange tickets.
On a more random note, we are also happy to announce yet again that one of the spoons has stopped pooping. And yes, we do find poops and farts funny!
