Day 14

What's a good pick up line to a hot girl from Belarus?

We woke up in Red Bluff, California. Beautiful day, Hot and Sunny, just perfect weather.

We were to ride about an hour to Lassen volcanic park. We got there about 11:30 and it was absolutely gorgeous. A totally cool place, though out of hot dogs. The peak was at about 8,511 feet, which we climbed from about 3,000 feet at the base. I also got great pictures of one of the lakes there called Lake Helen, which reminded me of my Grandmother. There was also a good amount of snow patches here and there among the Volcano. Pretty cool morning, all in all.

Afterward we rode East to find fuel and food. Al was practically on fumes, but thankfully we made it to the next town, which was an odd little place. No cell phone coverage there, and we ate in a small burger joint that was like a 50's burger joint from way back when. We also got chatted up from the yokels there. Strange days indeed.

We were then off to Reno. which, Im only going to say once. is a complete s*** HOLE! it's a dump! a total let down, we couldnt get out of there quick enough. It was just loaded with bums and homeless people and drug addicts. We were so dissapointed. All of the motels looked like crack houses. We knew it wasnt vegas, but WOW. Horrible.

It was also 6pm, but we High tailed it to Tahoe, where we are now, and made it here by 7PM. it was only about 50 miles away from Reno and now we're Staying in some motel, rather inexpensively I might add right on the lake, its pretty sweet, and with THE cutest front desk girl I've ever seen. She was all smiles and giggles and had a great accent. From Belarus she claimed.I must say when you are on the road all day, it ups any girls "rating" if you will, but this girl was definitely a knock out.

Day 4 and still no boobs!

3,462 total miles. everything is good, bikes are running great! Apparently All is in need of boobs (sorry Wendy) It's also nice to be in sun all day, and I believe we'll be in sun for the rest of the trip, or at least the rest of the trip that Al is on with me.
