re: On the road again...Jorge Abnormal this post is totaly unarleted to what I used to be looking google for, but it surely was once listed on the first page. I suppose your doing one thing right if Google likes you enough to position you at the first web page of a non related search.
re: riding thru yosemiteAlena That's amazing! We love heairng from more and more people who are choosing the non conventional life, if only for a while, and exploring the world. Good luck on your second rtw adventure!
re: night shotSukhjinder Great image, excellent cotiosimpon and lighting. A relief to find out you used flashes and not a manmade fire like one famous photographer once did!
re: Riding outside the entrance to ArchesKamila The question Why are you doing this? is very true. I have the same dream that I hope is cnoimg to light very soon. My reason, like yours, comes from the heart. In 2006 my teenage daughter was killed in an auto accident. It always feels as if I cant do enough to keep the memory of her alive. Three years ago I started planning this cross country trip from Alva, Oklahoma where she went to school and had the accident, to Westcliffe, Colorado where she was born. I began getting any supplies and gear I thought I would need, even different tack and a better saddle. I even found a different horse just for the trip, an 8 year old quarter gelding and the vet gave me the up to date coggin paper last week. My only reason for the delay has been having enough funds to leave behind for my wife to pay for things at home for what I believe will take about 35 days. Well, I believe I am at that point after three years of planning and day dreaming about this memorial ride, or Jessie's ride. In my thoughts and dreams of this trail ride I call it my personal Trail of Tears. And so to you on your journey I wish you well with the hand of Christ guiding the way.Rod
re: Vernal, UtahDesai So, how were the elk burgers? Did you see elk srlntliog the streets in Estes Park while you were there? During much of the summer and definitely into the fall, park rangers patrol the streets of Estes on Segways to keep the tourists from getting too close to the elk. Many of the visitors forget that these big animals are wild and can be quite aggressive if one gets too close.
re: Approaching some Elk on the roadMiguel I agree with you, dawn is magical in its own way and you've cautpred its essence.I adore the way you depicted the ethereal sky, blue and innocent. This work truly draws one in, wanting to be a part of the road trip.
