Day 24
What a long strange trip it's been...
--cont
...he sailed over the far reaches of the world. Over vast mountains, tall trees, and beautiful blue lakes. Through rain, through cold, through sun, through wind. The rain stung his face like little bees, and the sun burned his flesh as it warmed his soul. The wind tried to push him off course, while the cold made him feel more alive.
The boy would not falter. He remained true to his course, and set sail to the edge of the world. Across far-away lands where he met strange and wonderous people. An adventurer from the far west who rode a loud beast, The Red Queen from the upper wet lands who treated him to a feast made for a king, A true friend from the homelands who could make Samwize Gamgee learn a thing or two, and even an old soul from a time lost long ago where songs swept through trees across great lakes.
He fought new battles, and braved giant monsters which tore his sails and ripped his flesh. Bruising his skin and weakening his armor. But he still did not give up. If he fell then he would get back up and fly faster and harder then he ever did before. For true adventure is never easy. There will always be things to test one's strength and will.True adventure comes with a price. A price to test your very soul.
it was time to say farewell to this journey. Fairwell to these new and wonderous things and places and people he had met. For his ship was tattered and torn.
It was time to sail home.
Friends made are truely friends for life. Whether from far away lands where Red Queens roam and adventurers still seek adventure, to your homeland where your closest friends will always greet you with a smile, and help you mend your ships broken sail and mend your battle wounds with a grin, a drink, or a hug.

...and as the boy looked up at the night sky nearing dawn, he turned and shouted...
"Shades of Jupiter in my rear-view."
"Maybe the moon will be my next destination."
"Maybe I'll look down from above."
"Or maybe not."
"It's cold tonight."
"It's time to go home..."
