Day Six 20.03.05 We spent today doing some gardening. It has been particularly sunny and warm and it made sense to spend the time in the garden. We both find it difficult to sit and just do nothing, (James can achieve this but without William scratching around). We found some Perspex in the garage and some old putty and rather than take a trip to the glazier decided to try and repair the window in the kitchen ourselves. We are quite please with the result and although the owners may wish to replace the Perspex with glass at some stage the window is now secure and functioning. About half an hour later we met Bear and Bob (Local English friends of the owners) they had also come to do some gardening and measure up for the window, but they were so impressed with our handy work that they decided to wait for the Neil and Gordon to arrive at Easter and to decide if they want a professional job done. We have been invited to Bear and Bobs for a game of ping pong ball so we plan to take them up on their kind offer in the next couple of days. It will be good to meet with them as they have been here four years and know the area quite well. We had an fairly early night after all our physical exercise. It beats jogging any day, the gardening that is!
