Caught the bus to Newcastle this morning. We have bought a long journey bus ticket from Greyhound which entitles us to 'hop on and hop off' as much as we like up the East Coast. Got to Newcastle which is a lovely little town with a nice beach. It was so nice to get out of the city and beable to breathe in fresh air!! Today we went up the Sydney tower which looks over the city and the harbour which is 560 meters above sea level. The views were amazing and we could see for miles...actually 25km! In the afternoon we did what we do best which was to shop. Lots of christmas trees going up in shops at the moment and we even saw santa down the high street. Giot the ferry to Manly beach this morning where we hoped to lay on the beach catching some rays. However, when we arived it was raining so it was another visit to the shops. It cleared u quickly but it was far to cold to sit on the beach. The water was actualy closed as the waves were sooooo big. We went on a trip this morning to the blue mountains. We started off by visiting a wildlife park where we were able to toach koalas and feed kangaroos. I'm actually getting bored of the kangaroos already! Sarah still loves the animals though! Tried to have a lie-in this morning but the noisey bunch in our dorm decided differently! Moved to a differnet hostel in the City centre mid morning and then headed for a look around. Went back to the harbour for a proper look at the opera house and the bridge. It has been a very hot day here and it was so nice just chilling in the sun for a change. Went to the cinema tonight accompanied with a large bag of M&Ms!!
