Laura and Sarah's Travels
We went on a trip this morning to the blue mountains. We started off by visiting a wildlife park where we were able to toach koalas and feed kangaroos. I'm actually getting bored of the kangaroos already! Sarah still loves the animals though!
Lunch was included in the trip today and we diffinately made the most of it by being the first ones in the restuarant and the last to leave....we have to make the most of buffet style lunches!
We then viewed the 3 sisters in the blue mountains and afterwards went on a railway down into the valley. The railway used to be used to transport coal up to the top of the mountains and has set the world record for the steepest at 52 degrees. We had to hold on very tight!! We then walked around for a bit on a board walk and made our return journey up the mountains by cablecar.
Back aboard the coach for a visit to a town called Leura where there was a lovely little candy store. It would have been rude of us to visit the shop without buying anything so we had some chocolate each....which didn't last long!
Managed to squeeze a brief visit to the Olympic stadium in only to view the outside.
Headed back to Sydney city on a boat....and there was no sea sickness either!
