We arrived in Sydney after a long 12 hours on the train. We booked to travel business class because the seats are a little bit bigger. Dread to think what economy seats were like. Sarah curled up on the floor and I had 2 seats.....it was her idea, I didn't kick her off!! We are staying in a hostel in Kings Cross part of the city. It was appealing in the advert because they hada bath and we haven't had one for 5 weeks......we've been showering!! The rooms...

Didn't do alot today, got caught in heavy rain which reminded us of home! Posted parcel number 3 home.....the 3rd in 5 weeks! Catching the overnight train to Sydney which takes 12 hours. can't wait!

Another trip today and this time it was the 'Puffing Billy' steam train, wildlife santuary and wine tasting. The train was really nice and we had some great views through the Blue Dangenong ranges. Afterwards was a brief visit to a winery where we could sample the local wine. Didn't get too drunk....well it would only take one taste wouldn't it?!!! Went on a trip which included feeding kangaroos and seeing koalas which was so cool. visited phillip Island during the evening which is where thousands of little penguins return to their burrows from being out at sea all day or longer having been catching fish. It was really nice to see them waddle up the beach looking for their burrow. As it is mating season, some were very horney!

Well, after meeting the cast of neighbours, we thought it was only right to visit the only and only Ramsey Street! It is lot smaller in real life than that it apears on the tv. It was kind of strange standing outside of Harolds house. Unfortunately, no one was filming.
