Started the day with scrambled egg on toast with an unexpected side order of eggshell and mashed up flies followed by ants in the milk! Delightfull!! Spent the day being lazy on the beach....and didn\'t do a lot else!

Today we spent the morning on an organised trip. We started with a bumpy ride in the back of a jeep to begin our day with elephant riding through the jungle. Sarah and I were on Ripmar and she was 42 years old...Doing quite well we thought! It was a fantasic experience all though it was a little uncomfortable and thought we would end up being thrown off during a few moments of the ride. We had the day all planned out when we got out of bed....but it soon changed!!! As the island is so small we thought it would be a good idea to hire some mopeds as everyone does it and it would have been a greay way to see alot of the island. 200 baht a day is a bargain...about 3 quid. 20th September Arrived very tired from our long flight but at least we had in-flight entertainment on board...loads of flims and video games. Bangkok itself is very polluted and smells a bit s***y! Had lunch from a street vendor for 50p and didn't get stomach ache...amazing. Found Khao San Road which was manic with loads of shops...Everything is so cheap especially at the Night Bazar. We have looked into sending things home, so look out Royal Mail! ...
