After our delicious and very much appreciated free breakfast, Alfredo the lovely hostel owner drives us to Salento, a small village ten minutes drive away. We pay 40 COP each and hop in a 4x4 jeep up to Valle De Cocora a valley up in the mountains located in the Central Cordillera of the Andean mountains. So not going to lie feeling pretty intimidated by our mission this morning. Getting around here is nothing as easy as Mexico.
