We had a schedule this morning as we had to be at the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland to see the geyser going off. The Lady Knox Geyser goes off every day at 1015 (with a little prompting from a soap-like organic substance) and gushes for about an hour. This morning we arrived at Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Village, which is just as the name describes - a thermal village. It is also a Maori cultural area and we headed for the 1115 concert as soon as we arrived. Not sure quite what I was expecting, but we were both pleasantly surprised when a Maori adonis walked onto the stage and proceded to perform the 'hake'.
