Home indeed!! On Sunday 1st May I flew out of Calgary late in the evening, having packed and being seriously worried as to how much I was going to be charged for excess baggage, but salied through despite 2 huge bags. The flight landed at Heathrow at about lunchtime the following day and I had a welcoming committee - mum, dad and Robin. Mum was holding her handmade salad cream banner and I thought there were going to be tears, but not quite. Dad cooked roast beef for my dinner, which came with mashed parsnip and carrot, Yorkshire pudding and lovely roasties. S xx
