Trailor on Tour
Well, we have finally arrived in the South Island, having flown from Auckland to Nelson this morning on the smallest plane ever - it only had 30 seats.
Yesterday we had to get the van back to Auckland and so got up early and headed out of Napier. When we got to Taupo we picked up a hitch-hiker by the name of Tamir from Israel. He was a really nice guy who helped us clean out the van before returning it in Auckland, however I did keep an eye on him in the rear view mirror, although he slept nearly all the way.
Once we had dropped the van off we did laundry and had dinner at our hostel, the Skyway near the airport. Dinner - tuna, pasta and sweetcorn - it seems a shame to break with tradition.
So now we are in Nelson at a place called Shortbread Cottage and Nic leaves tomorrow to do a 10 day hike - not sure what my plans are yet. I'll probably sort out the camera thing and see how the mood takes me. So from both of us, bye for now xx
