I can sum this day up in 4 words - cricket, sunshine, beer and b*****ks. The first 3 are fairly self explanatory - we sat on the embankment at McLean Park in the blazing sun and watched a one day international between New Zealand and Australia, oh and we had the odd cold beer. Australia won easily, but it was a great day out and the ground was small enough that you could actually almost stand on the boundary in places. We had a little chuckle as well when the American girl behind us said "That's not very fair, there's only 2 of that team out there!", which was made worse by the fact that they had been playing for over an hour by that poiint. The sun was really hot and Nic took the mick out of my broad brimmed NZ hat purchased for the bargain price of $4 from the supermarket yesterday, but boy was I glad of it after a while. The last of the 4 words sums up the fact that I realised the next morning that my camera is missing - stolen, lost, not too sure. Went back to the ground and called the police station, but to no avail. Oh well. S xx
