Saturday - Mum and I went out to Waihi. We met Jackie and go settled into the house. Then for a FAST walk (run) on the beach. Collected a few shells. Then we drove out to a hill on the north entrance of the harbour. We walked on top of a little hill then back down, then up a much bigger hill with wonderful views, then down a grassy path that wound around the hill. I'm glad we didn't have to climb up that path. Then back to a small town where I got some icecream. Then after some reading we went to some hot pools, then we picked up fish and chips for supper and I tried Paula fritter. It was ok. Then we watched Net Ball. The Flames against the Stings. The Stings won.
