We went out to look at who woke us up at 7:00am. Then after a swim in the pool we headed out to Pukeiti gardens. We looked at all the rhododendrons as we walked on a sidewalk made of grass. We walked on a guided tour and saw a hollow Rata tree. Then we saw a waterwheel and a damn. After we had left the gardens we found a beach with lots of paua shells. Mum disected a paua shell with a baked thing in it. 

Then we saw another beach. We only got ice cream while we watched kids on boogie boards ride on waves. We saw a sign for another beach. We drove into the parking lot and saw we had to walk down a path of mud! We walked down, I slipped a few times, but when we got down on the beach no one was there. There was mud slides all over the place. There was a little mud river that hadn't reached the sea yet. We found some fossils on the beach.
